HemlockSo this is all of me that remains,  A pounding flesh of unspeakable pain,  To have my heart broken, seeping in his veins.  Is this all of me that remains?   
And with a lie pressed against his lips,  A fairytale, ending with a glass slipper that doesn’t fit,  And still I have not felt anything as beautiful as this.  Except for the kiss with a lie pressed against his lips.   
Now with the tears, a hemlock in my throat,  I give my voice away, a final note  Silence greets me there; a bitter hand and its foe.  A tragedy, the white petals choke

Judgement DaySomething worth the horror of feeling…  The sense and pain of touch,  Too broken with the art of dealing,  To care for the threat of the rush…   
Love is exposed, the need too much…  In times where hope disintegrates,  There’s nothing left to bear the crutch…  Both fall from the pressure of grace.   
If the heart was working,  The soul would fly from this trembling frame,  
A dim light through glass worth looking…  In a world where nothing will ever be the same…

AzureI met him on the pier where he was born,  With paper lanterns floating in the ocean.  His eyes were silver-lined…  The warning colors of a thunderstorm.  Lightning swimming in the midnight blue,  Ever-changing with emotion.   
He made me a locket out of stars,  To keep our wishes in.  Vowing the light would guide him home,  Should I ever find myself without him.   
Gazing into the open sea,  While making a path to lead him to me,  Casting colored glass in the sand at my feet.  The wind carries the light out above the moon,  And breaks the surface of the water Azure

MidnightThe stars exploded with rage,  All at the will of a girl with dirty hands on a crumpled page  Streaking the singed edges with salt from internal wounds.  Tears freshly frozen, tapping lightly to the floor, breaking in pain.   
One word, one thought, and a thousand more…  Flood the air, thick with gloom  The paper is too thin to keep the demons of worry away.  Her only hope is to last until the open hours of the day.   
The fallen stars gather on her window sill to watch her cry,  Giving her half the moon, because that’s all they could take.  Soothing the same fears in two s Midnight

I know during this time of year, a lot of you are sending out Christmas cards to friends and loved ones...but don't forget about those who may feel like they've been forgotten...
